Springtown is Down...

Updated: Jan 19

A stellar performance from freshman Presley Radke helped propel the Bridgeport Sissies JV team to a 67-10 victory over the Springtown Porcupines Tuesday night. Radke racked up more than 40% of the overall score with 28 points to her tally. Reese Townsend (Fr.) contributed more to the scoreboard than Springtown did adding 15 of her own, followed by Daisy Hudson's (Fr.) block of 10 and Yani Flores' (Fr.) 7 points.

The little Sissies set a brutal tone early on with a 27 point lead in the first quarter. No Porcupine recovery crew was prepared to send in reinforcements, so they were outgunned by 16 in the second quarter, 8 points in the third, and 7 in the fourth.

Townsend and Radke led the team in steals with 7 each. Contributing to the Porcupine frustration was Flores with 4, Hudson and Kyndal Slimp (Fr.) with 3, Claire Moody (Fr.) with 2 and Sophia Gracia (Fr.) with 1.

Radke totaled 6 rebounds making her a terrific terror on both offense and defense. Moody had a mean 5, and Townsend and Slimp landed with 3, Hudson had 2 and Cloee Newton (Fr.), Flores and Gracia all had 1.
