The Springtown Lady Porcupines fell to the Bridgeport Sissies in game 4 of Division 8-4A play on Tuesday. The Sissies came out swinging with a 28-12 lead at the end of the first quarter. Junior Gracie Rodriguez took top honors in the match up for baskets and bounds racking up 33 and 9.
Aaliyah Dehoyos stifled the Porcupine offense with 6 steals and 3 deflections. The Sissie senior also totaled 12 game points. Junior Anna Green dominated the paint with 11 points and 4 rebounds.
Junior Pyper Newlin added 6 points to the overwhelming win, and Freshman Charlotte Moore and Senior Rayna Mathes each put up 5.
The Sissies will close out the first half of the district schedule tonight on the road against the Krum LadyCats at 6:15pm.
